My name is Alex Sahlberg. I am 18 years old and have lived in Duluth Minnesota all my life on Park Point. I am a storm nut! I've been fasinated with severe weather since I was 4 or 5 years old when I was awoke during the night by lightning, wind and driving rains. Something clicked while watching it, and ever since I can't get enough of it. I started taking pictures of storms and clouds when I was 8 years old. But other than taking photos of storms, I've always wanted to video tape storms as well. So I finally got premission in May of 1998 to use my parents camcorder. And since then I've recorded every severe thunderstorm to hit the Twin Ports from 1998 on. I've just produced a video that highlights each years severe weather.   (see STORM VIDEO at the top for more)

 

Other things I do for fun, I'm usually always at the beach during the summer, swimming, boogie bording and body surfing on the lake when theres waves. I enjoy fishing, hiking, biking, adventuring, and a few sports. Some video games, and just plain hanging out outside when ever its nice out.
